Hello, everyone!
How are you today? I do hope you're all doing well. This moment, I would like to share about "The Use of Will vs. Going To : Differences Between Will and Going To".
A. Will
1. It expresses future actions decided at the moment of speaking (immediate decision).
For example, I'll have salad now.
2. It expresses a prediction based on personal opinions or experiences.
For example, I think United will win the game.
3. It expresses a future fact.
For example, the sun will rise tomorrow.
B. Going To
1. It expresses future plans decided before the moment of speaking (prior plans).
For example, I'm going to visit my aunt next Friday.
2. It expresses a prediction based on present evidence.
For example, look at those black clouds, It is going to rain.
3. It expresses that something is about to happen.
For example, get back! The bomb is going to explode.
Both "Will" and "Going To" can be used for making future predictions without having a real difference in meaning.
For example, I think it will be foggy tomorrow. = I think it is going to be foggy tomorrow.
That's all about "The Use of Will and Going To : Differences Between Will and Going To". I hope this material provides you many benefits.
Thank you so much for reading!
