1. Copy of Poetry Stopping by Woods on A Snowy Evening
By Robert Forst
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

6. Summary : This poet tells about a wanderer with his little horse. Suddenly one night they stopped in a forest. The atmosphere was quiet. Moreover that night was snowfall. They knew that the forest is owned by someone in the village across the forest. But they was not afraid of it. Because the owner would not know that they was there. They felt so incredible because they could see flake of snow around them. Then, they could feel the wind there and they were surrounded by trees and seeing a frozen lake. His little horse probably felt uncomfortable because they got rest in a forest without a farmhouse there. Even his little horse shook his bell to tell the man that was odd. Frankly, the wanderer wanted staying there for a while anymore because the forest was wonderful but he realized that he had to go because he had many affairs. Moreover, they had a long journey.

Di Pinggir Hutan di Malam Salju
Hutan ini, pemiliknya aku tahu
rumahnya di desa sebelah itu
tapi tak mungkin dia melihatku di sini
di tepi hutannya yang diselimuti salju
Boleh jadi kuda kecilku merasa seram
sebab di tepi hutan lama kami terdiam
di antara pepohon dan danau beku
di tengah malam yang paling legam
Ia goyangkan lonceng di lehernya
seolah ingin berkata ada yang tak semestinya
di tengah angin malam meraba
dan gerimis salju berjatuhan di udara
Sungguh, hutan ini begitu dalam menenangkan
tapi masih banyak janji yang harus kugenapkan
dan jalan panjang sebelum mata kupejamkan
dan jalan panjang sebelum mata kupejamkan
